Typhoon Hagibis Situation Report #2

CWS Japan | October 28, 2019

Typhoon Hagibis has devastated already disaster-hit areas, including Tateyama in Chiba where Typhoon Faxai hit last month. CWS Japan and its local partner Awa Bunka Isan Forum (Awa Cultural Heritage Forum) is continuing assessment to provide optimal support. The families to which we are reaching out for more detailed information about essential unmet needs are those where vulnerability is most evident: single mother-headed households; those who have children with disabilities, and as cited, single elderly people living on their own.
